15 Quick & Easy Whole30 Breakfast Ideas

I’m a week into Whole30 and, quite frankly, I’m feeling great! I’ve noticed I’m getting a better night’s sleep, which has in turn, brought my energy levels up. I also noticed that my mood has been improved. In other words, I’m much more patient with my children and have been feeling generally “Happy” most of the day. I think some if this is due to the boost of confidence I have from being proud of myself. I’m proud that I decided to start Whole30 and I that I’m sticking to it!! Yes, only a week in the books, but this is longer than other lifestyle changes I’ve attempted to implement. So, I give myself a pat on the back!
Last week, I posted an enticing, mouth-watering list of 15 Quick & Easy Whole30 Dinners. With changing my eating habits, I’ve had to find some new ideas on what I should eat to fit within the Whole30 Guidelines. So, this week, I’ve decided to focus on breakfasts.

Let’s hop right in!

1. Sweet Potato Protein Breakfast Bowl

This looks so yummy and filling. Yes, I know, I know. Fruit is meant to be limited, so however you need to adjust the portions, do so. I’d also add a plated fat, like half an avocado, sliced with squeeze of lime and sprinkle of salt. This recipe has protein powder as an ingredient, so make sure if you add it, you check to make sure it’s Whole30 approved.

2. Chicken Mango Breakfast Sausage

This is a fun twist on breakfast sausage that I fully welcome! Mangos are my besties! (except I devour them, which isn’t quite so friendly, but you catch my drift).

3. Sweet Potato Stack + One Minute Hollandaise Sauce

This reminds me of my former go-to breakfast entree, Eggs Benedict! The components of this breakfast idea are all things I enjoy! I like the look of them all stacked together, but if you’re in a hurry, you could make a scramble-hash version with a nice drizzle of that one-minute hollandaise sauce!

4. Egg & Bacon in Sweet Potato Cups

I’d make a muffin pan of these and have them for breakfast throughout the next couple days. I’ve never seen this made with sweet potato, so this recipe it a MUST-Try!

5. Turkey & Apple Sausage Patties

Another breakfast sausage pattie! If you make a large batch of these, you can use them throughout the week and for any meal of the day too. The green apples in this sound like a winner!

6. Chorizo Breakfast Bowl

Need a little spice in your life? Go for this Chorizo Breakfast Bowl! It’s packed with protein topped with the egg and avocado. It’s a no brainer and also another versatile meal that could be eaten any time of the day.

7. Avocado Baked Egg

Okay, I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical with I saw this one. I’ve never had an avocado warm. I’ve seen rave reviews, so I’m going to give this one a go very soon! It’s so simple, with just a few ingredients. I’ll have this with a side of bacon, sautéed spinach and a handful of grapes or blueberries.

8. Paleo Breakfast Burrito

This important thing about this recipe is to find Whole30 compliant ham. Many hams have added sugar or brown sugar, so be mindful when choosing your deli ham. Other than that, it’s quite customizable for what you fill it with. I’ll use what ever veggies I have on hand. I imagine I could likely eat a ton of these. I just want to grab these out the picture and get my grub on!

9. Banana Chia Pudding

Sometimes you just want something different AND cold. This would be my something different. so many of my breakfast are hot since there’s lots of cooking involved with Whole30. I like that it has banana (one of my fav fruits) and chia seed, a new food I’m getting familiar with. This would be great to make a few small mason jars full and could be part of a grab-and-go meal.

10. Apple Cinnamon Hot Cereal

More bananas…but, truly, the apples are the star of this breakfast idea. Serve it hot with some coconut cream drizzled on top. It your mouth watering yet?

11. Sweet Potato Toast

Here’s something I’ve only seen even before starting Whole30, but never tried. I’m excited to give it a go. The topping ideas are endless. I will be trying this exact recipe. Smoked salmon, cucumbers, dill…sounds good to me!

12. Breakfast Fry-Up

This one is fairly basic, but who says basic isn’t the way to go? Also, this one is eggless, since I know most of us get a little “over” having eggs everyday for breakfast.

13. Breakfast Casserole

A casserole is a great way to save time throughout the week, since it makes many portions, or make this for your Sunday brunch with the family. I doubt anyone will complain…it has BACON and sausage!

14. Prosciutto Wrapped Mini Frittata Muffins

For many of us, mornings are not slow. They are quick, fast and in a hurry. Make these little fancy prosciutto-wrapped muffin cups to add fuel to your breakfast throughout the week. They pack up nice and heat up easily.

15. Jalapeño Sausage with Potato and Brussel Sprouts Hash

Yep, I’m featuring one of my quick breakfast ideas. I literally used leftovers for my gold & sweet potato hash with red peppers and brussel sprouts. Just heated them in my cast iron skillet with a little coconut oil, split and seared a Trader Joe’s Jalapeño Chicken Sausage, added sliced avocado and one hard-boiled egg. Voila! Easy Peasy!
